Live in the studio we were joined by KILLDREN “a two-bit rave-punk band semi-officially the most hated/crap/controversial band in the UK” ahead of their appearance at Manchester Punk Festival.
Plus we chat to Paul from Bury band MSixSix about their benefit single Betty Tebbs.
Betty Tebbs was an English activist for women’s rights and a peace campaigner.
She was described by the People’s History Museum in Manchester as “a radical hero who worked tirelessly and with great humility to campaign for equal rights, workers’ rights and peace her whole life.
ALL PROCEEDS WILL GO TOWARDS THE FUNDING OF A PLAQUE TO COMMEMORATE BETTY ON THE GATES OF THE EAST LANCS PAPER MILL IN FESTIVAL GARDENS, RADCLIFFE GREATER MANCHESTER.
