Las Palmas, Gran Canaria, doesn’t sound like a hotbed of grass roots politics and DiY culture, but this week we talk to Jose from El Taller; a migrant centre established by local people to protect refugees who have been otherwise neglected by the state.
Jose is also behind Asociacion Cultural Carabrecol, which organises DiY punk gigs on the island – we hear how he has built a scene in his city.
