We talked about radical and DiY publications in Manchester, with a guest from the Hard Pressed project to map Manchester’s radical small presses, which aims to “recover and celebrate the hidden heritage of Manchester’s independent fiction publishers and the live poetry scene that grew from them”. We will also talk about the Multitudes Zine Fest – a series of zine-making workshops which will culminate in a festival later this year.
We’ll also talked to the organisers and some of the speakers of Wigan Punk: 1977 to 1992: Creating Our Own Own Culture Q&A and gig. The event takes place at Wigan Museum on Saturday 24th February.
